Ridgecrest Conference Center-Relax at Ridgecrest, including: Softball, Basketball, Volleyball, Touch
Football, Miniature Golf, Tennis, Fishing, Four-Square, and Frisbee Golf. Ridgecrest offers several hiking
trails with various levels of difficulty. Operated by LifeWay Christian Resources, an agency of the
Southern Baptist Convention.
Blue Ridge Parkway-The Blue Ridge Parkway is a 469 mile recreational motor road that connects
Shenandoah and Great Smoky Mountains National Parks while protecting the cultural and natural features
of the region. Designed as a "scenic drive", the Parkway provides both stunning scenery and close-up
looks at the natural and cultural history of the mountains.

Directions
Exit 64 off I-40, North on Hwy. 9 to Country Food Store, turn left at Nork Fork Rd.  Drive 2.2 miles, turn right
on North Fork, Left Fork (yellow house on left, Laurel Ridge sign on Right) for 1.3 miles through pasture
toward Asheville Watershed Gate.  Turn left on Sugar Maple and drive through Laurel Ridge Gate
(open Monday-Friday during day and Saturday morning).  At Fork go right on Winding Poplar for northern lots
and left on Sugar Maple for souther lots.  Sugar Maple will turn into Great Aspen.
